Children are encouraged to pursue high standards of achievement in literacy and numeracy and in a broad range of learning experiences modelled on the eight Key Learning Areas. Learning to think creatively, solve problems and work in teams is important in this stage of learning.
Additional programs including Mandarin Chinese and the expansion of Instrumental Music lessons are supplemented in the upper primary years by access to information communication and technology literacies, and sporting and cultural pursuits. The College’s introduction to interschool sporting competitions begins in the upper primary years.
